This brazilian has had a fairly spectacular 2007 where he ran through a long list of impressive fighters. He beat Rich "Ace" Franklin in spectaular style using a Muay Thai clinch which Franklin simply did not have an answer to. He also went right through such well known top names as Chris Leben, Nathan Marquardt and Travis Lutter. Not only does he have an excellent stand up game, he is also a black belt in brazilian jiu-jitsu so his ground game is excellent as well.
